Creative Digital Resources Sdn Bhd (as a company) was established in June 2002 to fill the need for a world-class software development in the increasingly important area of open source software. Founded by two veterans in the field of Information Technology, Creative Digital Resources is part of a group of companies that include:

• Serial Data Sdn Bhd : The holder of exclusive distribution rights for HP's JetCAPS range of printing / hardcopy solutions.
• APD Distribution : Manufacturer and Asia Pacific Logistics Center for electronic DIMM based solutions for HP Laser Jets with customers in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Hongkong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, India and China.

Early 2002, Creative Digital Resources started development on it flagship product SocketMail, a highly customizable, flexible and fully scalable Email Server Solution that uses the Open Source relational database, MySQL on Linux and PHP as the preferred programming language. Since its release, SocketMail has now been used in many European countries like France and Denmark and also the United States.

In addition to SocketMail , Creative Digital Resources is now focused on its new product , LiveSupport , a productivity tool that enables users to provide better on line technical support through the creative use of state of the art messaging and communication tools that make full use of the power of the Internet.

Socket Timesheet was also established in 2002 after much request for us to develop a web-based groupware application that caters for Small to Medium Industries (SMI). Since current groupware solution focuses on higher TCO platforms, Creative-Dr has decided to embark on one using open source platorm while not neglecting Windows™ platform at the same. We have also decided to offer a full unlimited user license per purchase without additional burden of per user license. This was a warm welcome to other more expensive web-based timesheet in the market today.

Creative Digital Resources also provide custom programming services using PHP scripting and Open Source tools and is committed to helping the businesses and organizations to realize its long term goal of providing affordable , open software that is developed with local expertise , making it possible to build a support infrastructure of world class IT resources.
